Pork and beef burgers to satisfy anyones cravings for meat in buns.
INGREDIENTS/
- 1 pack of ground pork
- 1 pack of ground beef
- 3 shallots diced
- 3 gloves of garlic
- fresh ground black pepper, thyme, seasoning salt, mixed cajun spice
- 1 egg
TOOLS
– cast iron skillet, or any frying pan
– or BBQ grill
MAKING PATTIES/
Dice the garlic and shallots into tiny pixels, mix up with the pork, beef, spices and the egg. mix well.
Make the meat into equal size balls. Work the meat together so it sticks well. Flatten the balls into patties 20% larger then you need, cause they shrink during cooking.
After you’ve made the patties place them in the fridge for an hour or so to help the meat stick together.
COOKING/
Heat up a cast iron skillet with oil. Place the patties inside for 3-5 minutes, checking constantly and browning the outsides.
